This is a fantastic DVD from Star Entertainment. 

Col. Parker did not want Elvis to do a rock special in a black leather outfit, but rather a Christmas Special with Christmas music. Eventually he let Elvis do what he did best, but Parker made sure that the public would at least see the only tamest versions of the songs he sang showing a nervous, yet cool side of Elvis. What STAR has done here is they have created the Alternate 68 Special in that all of the performances are completely different than the standard performances we have all seen, and in many cases, much wilder and crazier moves are performed. This is the Alternate special aimed at the true fans. Amazing quality and sound.
